Community Engagement Fostering Initiatives at our Wilmington Campus

At Grace Chapel's Wilmington Campus, we're working to come alongside of agencies, families, and individuals who are in some way connected to the foster system in Massachusetts.

  • We Support and encourage biological families whose lives have been affected by trouble and trauma.
  • We build teams of support for families who are fostering.
  • We provide trauma-informed training for our congregation so we can create safe spaces for kids who have experienced hard things.
  • We build relationships and support social workers and staff at our nearby Department of Children & Families (DCF) office.
  • We partner with Fostering Hope - an agency that helps connect church communities with agencies and resources of support.
  • We have a goal of helping DCF find safe and supportive families for every vulnerable child in our region through encouraging people to consider opening their home for foster-care and/or adoption.

How can I get involved?

Each Grace Chapel campus has their own Community Engagement team.  To learn more about Community Engagement at our Wilmington campus and to get updates on what your Campus Engagement Team is up to, contact the Community Engagement team leader:  Pastor Tom VanAntwerp -
