The search committee remains very excited and quite humbled by the slate of candidates that have come forward with an interest in the opportunity to serve as Grace Chapel’s next Senior Pastor. The process and timeline originally set out by the search committee and our search partner, Vanderbloemen, remain on target. We are working through the final steps in the process that will result in the Board of Elders bringing forward a finalist to the congregation.
We remain confident that our God has been with us through every step on this journey. We know that the individuals and teams praying for the individual God has chosen for this Senior Pastor role have helped in so many ways. In the weeks ahead, please continue to pray for all those involved.
Our group of finalists have gone through a prayerful and focused process with Vanderbloemen, the Search Committee, and our Elders to help us find the individual that will lead us forward. We look forward to the last steps of the process that will support the emergence of our finalist and their eventual introduction to our congregation.
Pastor Bryan’s retirement timeline remains the end of May and we are confident that God will reveal who he has prepared to be the next Senior Pastor for Grace Chapel in that timeframe.
