This past week we met a significant milestone for the search for our next senior pastor at Grace Chapel. Eugene Kim from Vanderbloemen Search Group met with our search committee to present a slate of candidates to consider moving forward with in the interview process. We were impressed and honored to hear how much interest there has been in this role from all across the country.
The Search team spent a great deal of time together evaluating this first round of promising candidates. We looked at their leadership and management experience, their teaching and other content, and unique things in their background that set them apart. The Search team narrowed the pool down to candidates that will now move on to interview with our search committee team. We are very excited to get to know each of them over the next few weeks.
The next phase in the process involves taking an in-depth look at each candidate. Because we do not wish to disrupt their current ministry work at their respective churches, we’ll need to keep many of the specific details about that process confidential. We’ll continue to share as much as we can through the entire process, so thank you for continuing to pray and support us through this next phase.
Thank you for your continued prayer and support! If you have any questions or thoughts you would like to share with us, please submit them through the grace.org/seniorpastorsearch website.
