Where is God in all of this?
I think we all wonder about this question. We have a hard season, or loss and wonder God what are you doing? As I have taken some time to reflect on this question I was drawn to a verse in the Psalms, Psalm 34 verse 19 to be exact. In The Message translation it says this “Disciples often get into trouble, still God is there every time.”
So where is God in all of this? He is right in the middle of it all. Better yet God is tangibly present right in the middle of it. He is beside us, walking through the hardship. Yet, not only is God walking with us, so are his people.
We have brothers and sisters in Christ who are available to encourage, support and spur us onward. God in his love for us gives us one another. One of the most tangible representations of God in our world is us.
So the question I have then is what are you doing to experience community in these times? Maybe for you, you recognize I need to be in a group. I need to be with other people seeking God together. If this is you, please email me at and I will get you plugged in. We have new groups starting up and I would love to connect you.
Maybe for others it is you need someone to pray with you, call you or even write you a note of encouragement. If you go to ww.grace.org/graceathome, you can click on the link to one of needs forms and someone will be connected with you quickly.
God is with you and so are his people. Take this time to surround yourself with others, to experience God together. God is faithful, but sometimes we need others to help us see it.
