Student CCLEs

Cross-Cultural Learning Experiences

What are CCLEs at Grace Chapel?

What are CCLE’s?

CCLEs are Cross-Cultural Learning Experiences, formerly called “short-term mission trips”. At Grace Chapel, this is an important distinction. These opportunities are about more than just lending a hand where there is need. These opportunities are ways for our students to learn from our ministry partners serving in different cultures. These inter-generational missions learning teams help students step outside of their routine to learn and serve alongside one another while building friendships through service. Is this your year to take a faith-sized, cross-cultural risk?

Why does Student Ministry run CCLEs?

At Grace Chapel Student Ministry, we believe we are part of a bigger story. This life isn’t just about us and how we grow and what we experience. We believe that in our strengths and in out of our weaknesses, we get to partner with the amazing things God is already doing in the world around us. So, we partner with our Missions Ministry and our Mission partners around the world to join God in what He’s doing there, learning, serving, loving, and growing wherever He sends us.

Application Process

Applications open on November 10, 2024 and will remain open until January 12, 2025. Interviews will take place until January 26, 2025 and the teams will be announced on February 10, 2025.

Application

Leader Information

Are you a returning high school student or adult who is interested in helping with our CCLEs this summer? For adults we have needs and roles that don’t require you to attend the trip, but for adults and returning high school students, this is a great opportunity to pour into the next generation for one of your (and their) most unforgettable weeks of the summer.
