Lent & Easter at Grace Chapel

Jesus, the Resurrected King, came to heal and transform hearts and lives, and the whole world. Then, he invited the disciples to go and do the same. Jesus’ resurrection brings about God’s kingdom and power and glory.

No other prayer is more important to Christians than the Lord’s Prayer. It is the prayer Jesus taught us to pray. And each word and every line are filled with meaning. It’s a prayer that shapes our lives, and with God working through us, changes the world.

Join us this Lent and Easter season as we study the Lord's Prayer. We’ll seek to understand prayer as Jesus taught it, packed with hope and power for today.

The Easter season is a time of renewal and rebirth. It is a time to reflect on the love and sacrifice of Jesus. At Grace Chapel, we believe that the Easter message is one of hope and joy, and we invite you to come and experience it with us.
 
Whether you are looking for a traditional service or a more contemporary one, we have something for everyone. Our services are available in-person or online, so you can join us from anywhere in the world.

What to expect...

Thinking about visiting Grace Chapel for the first time, or the first time in a long time? Wherever you are on your faith journey, whatever your religious background, or if you've never been to church before, we promise you one thing: you will experience grace here. 

Our in-person worship services are a little over an hour long. Most Sundays, they include:

  • A time of singing. Sing along or just listen, it's up to you. 
  • An offering. Don't feel obliged to give your first Sunday!
  • A sermon. Our messages are usually about 30 minutes long, and are thought-provoking, inspiring, and relevant.
  • Opportunities to connect with people. Make sure to stop by the Welcome Center in each of our locations to learn more about short term and ongoing groups, ways to get involved in the life of our church, and our programs for kids and teens.

Lent Groups

Join a short-term group this Lent as we work through "The Prayer Practice Course" with John Mark Comer. It's a 4-week video series, with discussion guides, designed to help believers of all kinds grow in their prayer life.

Prayer Prompts & Scripture Reading Plan

Prayer Prompts

During Lent this year we are leaning into the practice of prayer. Each day we'll send out a notification in the app with a prayer prompt and the scripture for that day from our scripture reading plan.

How do I get it?

To receive the prayer prompts you'll need to enable notifications in the app and select the "Watch, Listen, Read" notification category.

To update your notification settings, from the home screen tap your profile in the upper right hand corner of the screen, then select the "Settings" wheel, also in the top right corner of the screen.

In this menu, you'll find "Notification Categories" as the second option. Open this option and select "Watch, Listen, Read."

Scripture Reading Plan

This Lent, we are inviting you and all of Grace Chapel to a slow and thoughtful read of the Gospel of Matthew. If you miss a day or two, don’t give up. There is wisdom, truth, and love on every page. Read that day’s reading, and go back to what you missed. 

Most importantly, reflect on what you have read. What stirred in your heart, what questions rose from within, and among the many other thoughts ask yourself, “What are you hearing from God today and how can you live in that message?”
